drawing for a friend of mine. want's a tattoo of Hel. I am posting because I AM TIRED OF LOOKING AT HER.

For those who are unfamiliar, Hel is the half normal half skeletal (some interpretations say half normal half black as night) daughter of Loki and the giantess Angrboda. Sister to Fenrir the giant wolf who would kill Odin and Jörmungandr, who would grow into the midgard serpent, she and her siblings were taken into custody and either imprisoned, tossed into the ocean or given a job to do. Her job is to be king of the underworld and to hang out in the great hall of the non-glorious dead. Everyone who dies of old age, sickness, or anything not glorious enough to be considered death in battle belongs to her. She also has two crippled-ass servants.
